The Death of Emily

she turned her face
toward the wall,
death sat upon her
bed,
a cold hand on her
shoulder,
pale lips pressed to
her head,
a silver ring he
carried,
her slender finger
placed,
their breathing
intermingled,
her life on earth
erased,
absorbed into the
silence,
her voice she left
behind,
inked on scraps of
paper,
still echoing through
time.

The death of emily,is like omg! so good and yet tells of story all on its own, about death lingering at her bed side, and he coming to take her,and there's nothing left but her voice echoing through time.I like it alot, yet dark and despressing all at the same time. So if your interested into more dark tails, check out my blogg: sugarsiren.wordpress.com, poems and recipes to feed the mind.
